Brinnley has become an avid animal lover, or should I say, "doggie" lover. When we went to Mississippi for spring break to see my parents - she fell in love with their 2 dogs, mostly Jackson, the tiny crazy mutt who would just lick her like crazy! She loved going up to their french doors and looking outside to see the "doggies". Oh, did I mention that she can say DOGGIES and the word SIT!?! She has become such a sponge and can actually say quite a few words now! It's so fun to hear her voice come to life and her eyes light up after she figures out the word she said, she gets so excited!
Anyway - my in-laws have a golden retriever who is the most excitable and timid dog ever. She goes crazy when Brinnley, or anyone else for that matter, comes to their house. She is a little scared around Brinnley so it's the perfect match! Brinnley loves to walk around her, touch her, give her hugs and kisses, and pet her mouth while Nala licks her!
It goes to show that yes, we will eventually be getting a dog ourselves.. but not until we have our backyard and new patio finished along with a few other things around the house! I don't have the patience or want for a dog right now!
