Today, Aaron and I had the day off, together. I can't even remember the last time we had the day off together! We woke up around 11:30. My body woke up about 8am and wanted to get up, but I couldn't resist cuddling up next to my sound asleep husband for just a few more hours. It was well worth the over slept headache I had for a few hours after rolling out of bed.
I attempted to make us french toast, but after taking one bite Aaron threw his away claiming it tasted moldy and gross. I think the eggs I used were really old and the bread was kinda old, too! haha. We talked about me taking a cooking class sometime this summer.. I really am horrible at cooking anything that isn't macaroni and cheese. Therefore, we just had to go to Jack in the Crack for brunch. Yummy!
After laying around for a bit, we decided we needed to go get some groceries so Aaron so kindly made us a list. We both know that when we go to get groceries we also end up getting things we don't need but want so badly! This week we will both be working at TSA and just need a few things to bring to work for lunch or to have when we come home for lunch. Pretty simple, right? Yeah, we got a few extra items that weren't on our list.. oh well! :)
While we were out driving, Aaron made a comment about how he was missing his basketball game to spend time with me! I threw back at him that I was putting off my homework to spend the whole day with him (seriously, I have my worksample due in a week! This isn't including my action research...blahh). He felt bad which wasn't my intentions at all, and told me I should work on my homework. He would sit by me and watch basketball and play on our tablet so I could use the computer. Just being around each other was enough and the weather kinda took a turn so being inside wasn't the worst thing ever. So that is what I have been working on - I finished editing and turned in my Lit Review for my AR, completed my Section One (13 pages worth..), started my Section Two, and edited some awesome pictures with my tablet!
I would have to say that it's been a pretty successful and fun filled day off with my husband. Now, time to cuddle and watch weird survival shows on Netflix.. it's Aaron's new obsession.
