This morning we decided to take a trip to Target for some Brinnley shopping. We all slept in, like we usually do on the weekends and hung out for a bit before we decided to head out to my favorite store of all time.
Brinnley has officially grown out of the infant clothes section.. she no longer fits into the 9months clothes and we have to go to the other side of the girls section to the toddler sizes! She is wearing 12months in most clothes even though some are a tad too big, she will obviously grow into them quickly. We started putting all of these adorable clothes into the basket and after looking at them a few times, we decided they just weren't Brinnley. We looked at what we were both wearing, jeans and hoodies, and looked at what we had picked out: a sweater dress, cardigan, grey jeans, and tights. We put all of it back and found some more suitable clothes for our style. We got her another pair of (wide leg) jeans, some khakis, a sweatshirt with no hood, and another shirt. Obviously, she will wear those other types of clothes for holidays or special occasions, but really, she can decide to wear that style when she is older - we don't want to spend an entire fortune on clothes that she will grow out of in a matter of months.

Anyway - I received a text asking if we wanted to go to his parents house to pick pumpkins - Aaron's brother and sister in law were bringing their 2 girls over to "pick" pumpkins from their front yard and of course, we said yes. We paid for Brinnley's new clothes and were on our way. We don't see Ang, Bryan, Lucy and Paige very often so it was a treat to spend some time with them. Paige is only 6 weeks older than Brinnley and I can't wait until they are older and running around together chasing after Lucy! Lucy helped to pick out the pumpkins for everyone and Brinnley got a tiny one with a huge stem, which was perfect for her little fingers.
Of course, we had to have pumpkins for Aaron and I. I found perfect little round ones that represent our little family perfectly!
Once the pumpkins were picked, we had ourselves a little photo op in the front yard! It was a beautiful day out and Brinnley loved playing in the grass and trying to shake her pumpkin to see if it made noise :)
