Spring and the Future

It's officially Spring and we are loving it. Last week after work we decided to let Brinnley get out some energy and we headed to the nearest park. Unfortunately, there were a ton of other kids there so we just reverted to the grass area surrounding the park for a bit. Brinnley loved it. It was a littler chilly but the sun was shining bright and the skies were clear. Brinnley lead the way and she was off. She had a little stumble that seemed to happen in slow motion, but she got right back up and started to chase after the ducks! 

It's nice that Aaron gets days where he gets off at the same time as me so we are able to enjoy the afternoon and evenings together as a family. 

We finally made it back to the park once the other kids had left and put Brinnley in the swing. She has been in it before with other family members while we were both at work so this was a new experience for both of us! She absolutely loved it! She laughed the whole time and didn't want to get out out of the swing! We took her down the slide and let her wander a littler bit more. It will definitely                   be something we do again and again. Hopefully we can get her her own play swing set for our huge backyard also. We have so much room!

I'm excited for our many adventures we have planned for this summer... Oregon trips, our free Vegas trip - yes, it will be free, and some camping. We are keeping it low key in hopes of purchasing a truck later this year and we want to enjoy our home that we have been putting so much effort and time into as well. Our backyard is almost ready to go and Aaron's newer non-charcoal BBQ will be purchased just before Father's Day in time for all our cookouts! Can't wait to really dive into summer in this house that we have made into our home!
