Update!

It has been a crazy week I tell ya. It is the end of the quarter so I have been going going going in the classroom trying to get the kiddos tested on end of the quarter pieces and trying to grade them and get them evaluated! I have barely done anything when I get home from work because I am so exhausted..

I swear, I never got my second trimester energy back like I was told I would. Or maybe I did but I spend all that energy on my kiddos.. they can be pretty exhausting!

My first graders are little sweethearts and we started a countdown to Halloween. The principal is not a fan of parties but said it was ok to do a little thing in our classrooms as long as it doesn't obviously take up the whole day. Plus, because of the area I teach in, costumes are not allowed at school on Halloween because some students are just not able to afford anything, never have before either and it wouldn't be fair to students if some were able to dress up and some weren't. Aaron told me to decorate my room and put up a bunch of cobwebs. Well, when I did the students went crazy.
So I made up this story about a giant spider coming into the room to put his web everywhere and I wasn't able to catch him.. so each day he kept coming in to put up more and more cobwebs... well, the other day while the kiddos were at Computers, I caught him in the cabinets above the sink! I tied off the cabinets with his web and put caution tape up so we wouldn't open the doors! Slowly though, the spider may just make an appearance and on Halloween for our class party, he will join us! The kids love it and get so excited.. :) To help in the celebration of Halloween, we/I draw pictures of characters in our journals. Introducing, Skelly The Skeleton. She is a girl (notice the bow on her head?!) and Max The Spider joined her the next day but I didn't take a picture of it. Once again, the kiddos loved it. Makes me love my job that much more.. It was a mellow week for them and next week I need to get back on top of things so this weekend I have some major planning to do..
Hello Starbucks.. :)

I have been trying to get things ready for when our roommate finally moves out and we can make this place about the Bauer's and our little Princess to be.. I put our wedding reception thumbprint tree in a frame that I painted puple! Can't wait to display it :) And on my desk at work is an ultrasound picture of our little girl with her given name for the time being! Just tonight while Aaron and I were walking around after dinner he threw out another name he liked! I swear I have mentioned it before (although he doesn't remember it) and I really like it.. I have a friend with the name but we hardly speak. She is a friend whom we don't really speak often but when we do, it's really easy to catch up and pick up where we left off! Using that name wouldn't be one of those where if we choose it I would immediately think back to her.. but I have always loved the name! Guess we will wait and see.. right now, it's in the mix with some others until we can make up our minds! It may be awhile until we choose!

Obviously I have to talk more about my little one. This week for some reason I took many pictures of my big ole belly. Just the other day while I was changing out of my work clothes I looked down and noticed that my legs looked different than what I was used to! My knees have swollen a bit and my legs are filled with cellulite.. I am so used to being skinny most of my life that it was definitely shocking. I looked at Aaron and told him my complaint and he just laughed.. His reply: I have actually noticed that for awhile I just never said anything to you! It doesn't matter, I love you no matter what! Let's go take a walk!

Now some girls would cry and get all emotional if their husbands said something like that to them but I just laughed and said OK. Our relationship is solid enough that I know he loves me unconditionally and that even though my body is changing, his love for me will not. He constantly tells me how much he loves my belly and he can't wait to see how big it gets! It really is starting to POP more and I can't even try to suck it in (why would I?!). The baby is growing faster now which means my belly will grow with her. Next week, my uterus should be the size of a soccer ball.. CRAZY!! The Dr.'s have told me that my Princess is petite, but I know she will make mommy look huge!

This is me in my Spongebob PJ set. I asked Aaron to take my picture and he replied, In Spongebob?!  I don't care, my belly is getting all the attention! :) I think my camera needs to be cleaned though.. so many blurry spots!
But here is me at almost 23 weeks all ready to relax tonight before my planning filled weekend creeps up on me! :)
