Have you ever seen a black bear?!

...I have!

Aaron and I went up to Warm Lake on Friday after we got off work for just some good ole down time with just us! Aaron did a great job setting up camp.. we both put the tent up but then he made the fire while I played Martha Stewart a bit and unpacked and set up our bed. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and I made some smores. Yummy! :)
We slept in and woke up when we felt like it. We took off in the car and explored just a bit around the area.. when we got back to our campsite some of the other campers were out with binoculars looking up into the hills a bit. Once we asked what the heck was going on we realized that they had spotted a black bear!

Ahhhhhh.. haha. It was just a baby bear and we decided not to let it ruin our day so I made us some lunch and we made sure to pack up everything in our car to make sure not to give the bear any reason to venture into our campsite. We hiked a bit around the lake to enjoy the sun and then ventured out onto the lake! Little did we know that because the sun was so wishy washy and in and out of cloudes we didn't think we had gotten very much sun! haha, yeah were we wrong!! We both got burnt and are feeling it today!

After laying out in the sun for awhile we decided to just lay down for a bit.. we started talking about what else we could do.. well, hiking was out of the question thanks to the bear - we didn't want to risk it!
The more we talked the more we realized we were camped out. We were bored and both knew that although we had had fun together, we were both thinking about being home and just being together there. We had the next two days off so we decided to pack up and head on home and relax and enjoy being together in our comfort zone! :) About 3 hours later we were back home and back to our usual selves...

 Although it was short lived, our camping trip was both exciting, eventful, fun, and just overall relaxing! There is never a dull moment when Aaron and I are together. <3
