Repeat!

The Western Idaho Fair came to town. (and is currently wrapping up at this moment) and I worked there, every.single.day. (minus today!)

Starting on the 19th this is how my schedule went:

Work at TSA 9am-5pm
Work at the fair 5:30pm-10:30ish
Home by 11-11:30pmish
Sleep

Repeat x9 days.

Don't worry, it was all worth it considering the 40 hours Aaron and I each worked will be paying for gas for our road trip down to Mississippi coming up in 2 weeks.

I made a friend. This isn't zoomed in either!

The view from the back of the booth where I was taking a break while Aaron was cooking! As you can see, this was during a very very slow time which was very very rare!

Overall though, I had a blast. Aaron's entire family comes together for the fair and all work in shifts. His family is pretty much amazing as well. I don't get to see his aunts, uncles, or cousins very often but in the last year or so I have been able to get to know them periodically so it was fun to hang out with them more during the last week and a half. The conversations ranged from school, the fair, what's in store for the future, Aaron and I's relationship (they all want to know when we are getting married! hahaha), and I even got complimented a few times from a handful of his family members that they like me so much more than his previous relationship.. apparently she left a sore spot in their minds!
Guess that's one of the reasons why we are together and so happy! <3
It really did get me thinking about family dynamics and how important it is for Aaron and I's relationship that I get along so well with his family and vice versa. In my previous relationship I had such a hard time getting along with his family, they weren't bad people in any way but I was not a fan for many reasons that I could go on and on about... but I won't.
Aaron's family is so easy to talk to and to just laugh and joke with.. I can be myself and relax, I don't have to try and impress them or try to say the right things because I know that they won't judge me for saying something stupid. In a way, they are like my own family members and obviously I loveee my family! It's nice to know that I have a family away from my family and that even though Aaron and I aren't married, I am still considered part of the B family anytime and that I have found a place for me after all...
