He asked, I said YES!

Yesterday was a HUGE day in our lives.
But instead of jumping right into it.. let's go through Christmas Day!
Rewind to 7am yes, that is when my mother decided to call me..

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Have you opened all your presents yet?!?!"
No mom, we are still sleeping! It's only 7 o'clock and Aaron hasn't been feeling well so we are just sleeping in for a bit today..
"OHHH, ok, well call me when you open your presents and everything! MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

Of course, that woke us up, but it still took about 45 minutes for us to crawl out of bed. I turned on the gas fireplace (we are house sitting so we are living in luxury for another week!) and we sat together and opened presents. I definitely surprised Aaron with a few of his presents :) and I was surprised, too!!
My family sure does know me, I got tons of purple stuff and the Friends complete series! I am missing so many discs so it's awesome that I can now watch any and every episode whenever I want.

After we were done opening presents Aaron asked if I wanted my last present and of course I said YES to that question!
He told me that we weren't going to be staying at the house tonight, we were staying somewhere else.. but that's all he would tell me! And I had to wait until 6pm to find out anything else.
REALLY!

So, we ended up putting on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on (one of Aaron's presents!) and relaxed while I made us some hot chocolate. After a bit we got all ready and headed over to his parents house to give them their presents.
Our gift from them?!
25 pounds of sugar and 25 pounds of flour!
Now I really have to bake something! hahahaha

After hanging out there for a bit we came home, checked on the kitties and packed our bags. Aaron tried to trick me when we left saying that where we are going will take an hour to get to!
"But we have to work in the morning! We'll have to leave so early!!"
We started driving towards Boise and my mind went immediately to McCall - but that was so much further than only an hour!! Eventually, we pulled into the Anniversary Inn in Boise and Aaron just started to laugh! I could tell he was anxious and nervous and this just wasn't like him to go over the top like this! He knew I had always wanted to stay there and he was so sweet to remember! He said he got such a good deal that we were able to stay in a diamond suite - The Capitol!
It was pretty much the most awesome place ever -- Aaron even had rose petals put on the ground leading up to the platform raised bed, along with apple cider, and cheesecake!

This was soo unlike Aaron and for him to put this all together was just the sweetest thing for him! When we walked in he asked me, "Does this show you how much I love you or what?!"
But he knew he didn't have to do all that for me to know, I've know for a long time!
After we checked in and soaked up how cool it was Aaron said we had to get going for another surprise
The Botanical Gardens
Oh man, he really outdid himself! The only problem was he didn't tell me any kind of hint so I was only wearing my fleece coat! Luckily, I had my new scarf and mittens he had given to me for Christmas so it wasn't tooo bad! We walked around and I think we were both anxious for the rest of the night cause we were only there for about 35 minutes. After we defrosted in the car we went to Shari's -- I was craving some breakfast food!!

This was literally right before he asked!!
Once we got back to the room we put on Friends and relaxed. He left the bed for a second and then came back and started asking me all these serious questions in his "I'm Aaron and so cute voice" that he is so good at.. He asked me if I wanted to be with him forever, of course I said yes, why wouldn't I want to be?! He kept being a little weird and I knew something was up. I could tell how nervous he was and we both started laughing! Of course we laugh, that's what we do! He finally said he had another Christmas present for me and pulled out the box. I barely looked at it cuz I was just looked at him and we both busted up laughing!! Now, it seems weird - but that's us. I knew exactly what he wanted to say and eventually he asked, "So, you'll eventually marry me then, right?!" By this time I had already put the ring on my finger and given him a big kiss - YES OF COURSE!
It's perfect for my tiny little hands and I love it. (ps - it's white gold, not gold like the picture makes it look!) I couldn't have picked out anything better, I'm excited to pick out some enhancers to complete it, too.
Today at work I got some pretty cool reactions from my co-workers. I only outright told 3 of them and one who thought I would have told her was so excited she threw down what she was holding onto the counter! It's so exciting to have so many special people in my life to share this with!
We couldn't be more happy and more excited to start a life together!

And no, we have no set a date yet!
